We are delighted that you are considering applying for a place at St Michael’s School. Our team is ready to answer any questions you may have about St Michael’s and to ensure that the admissions process goes smoothly from registration all the way to entry.
We welcome pupils who can benefit from the academic, sporting, cultural and social opportunities offered by St Michael’s, and those who are ready to make their own contributions to school life and community. We seek to be an inclusive school, welcoming children from all backgrounds and abilities and encouraging them to flourish and enjoy every opportunity.
Before you submit a Registration Form, we would encourage you to visit St Michael’s for a tour with our Head, Henry Marshall, as this is the best way for you to get an insight into life at St Michael’s.

The Process
School admission is at 3+, into Nursery, or 4+ into Reception. We are normally in a position to offer a small number of places into Year 7 each academic year.
Places are offered on a non-assessed basis and in order of date of registration. Pupils are admitted in other year groups as vacancies arise, so please contact us for advice and further information.
Prospective pupils are invited for Taster Days to experience St Michael’s first hand and then for Transition Morning in Trinity term.

Nursery Fees
Nursery Morning sessions
08.30 to 12.30 Monday to Friday
Children who have turned three can attend at a termly cost of each session e.g. every Tuesday for a term – £410
Children whose fourth birthday falls during this academic year can attend with thirty free hours per week funded by the States of Jersey Nursery Education Fund. Nursery School disbursements, per term – £150
Nursery Lunchtime Sessions
12.30 to 13.30 Lunch and a play session, Monday to Friday
Termly cost of each session e.g. every Tuesday for a term – £150
Children can either have their own packed lunch or Hot Lunch is available for children who attend all five days. Hot Lunch cost per term – £465
Nursery Afternoon Sessions
Afternoon sessions 13.30 to 15.30 Monday to Friday
Open to all children from 3 years old.
