Nursery
Nursery children are welcomed into school between 08:15 and 08:30.
Nursery is located in La Houguette: a purpose-built environment adjoining the Reception classrooms, forming the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit. The Nursery has its own secure outdoor learning classroom which is shared with the Reception children. Continuity between Foundation Stage 1 (Nursery) and Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) ensures a smooth transition for children as they move towards the main part of the school.
08.15 – 0.830 – Nursery children are welcomed into school
08.30 – 15.30 – Nursery and Reception school day
15.30 – 17.00 – There is an option of after school care Mondays to Thursday
Nursery Education Funding (NEF) of 30 hours is available for the Nursery children.
Pre-Prep
Each Year Group consists of two small classes, led by passionate, forward-thinking teachers and supported by experienced teaching assistants. The team of staff inspire a love of learning, alongside instilling good manners and social skills. Children work both within their classes and as part of the entire Year Group, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
08.15 – 0.830 – Children are welcomed into school
08.30 – 15.30 – Years 1 and 2 school day
15.30 – 17.00 – Optional Activities Programme on Mondays to Thursday
